The UX design team started with a thorough analysis of the existing app, the Thai market, and the target. It was crucial to analyse how current users interact with the application to understand better which features should be more prominent and where to put them.
After the UX research, the UX designers started building ux-fows, wire-flows and user stories. Then, the UI design team took over to deliver the final look of the new app. They didn’t want to move too far away from the previous version, so that it didn’t feel like a big change for the existing users. Instead, they updated the color palette and fonts slightly to give the interface a fresh look. Custom illustrations & icons were additionally used to explain abstract terms better and to add a human touch to the application.
